FREE 109 military frame
I have a lead on a few 109” military frames. They will need some work on the frame horns but other than that they look solid. They will need to be hauled away, up a hill by hand so you’ll need helpers! Anyone interested? I’ll get some pictures today.

Re: 109 military frames
If anyone is thinking about grabbing one of these frames and cobbling together a project. Ive got 109 station wagon tub & safari roof. As well as coiler axles, suspension and running gear available if your feeling adventurous!
Where are the frames located?

Re: 109 military frames
Frames are on a property in Saanich I’m helping clean up. These would be a great base for a 109 truck, they are very heavy duty compared with the civilian versions. Removable gearbox x members, extended spring mounts, etc....

Re: 109 military frames
Hi Matt and Rob, question I have a project 88” (Matt has seen) but really I’d rather a 109” if I got this frame could I slap together a 109 with Robs tub and my body from the seat box forward. Seems doable right 🤷🏼♂️

Hi Frank,
It’s possible, but not as easy as getting a new frame under your 88”! I believe Rob has a 5 door rear tub. Do you want a 5 door LWB or a 3 door LWB? I could find you a a good 88” frame if you want to go that route.

Re: 109 military frames
The big difference is the t post instead of just the sill rail on 88. T post includes thd b & c pillars for the station wagon . Also the second row floor which i have.
I think there is also a bulkhead behind your front seats which is different on a 109 SW.
I dont know what mounting points the frame has but they might be set up for the van type of rear body

Matt, yeah was thinking a 3 door 109. Anyway your probably right I should just focus on getting this 88” in good working order, I do love it.
Send me a pm, let’s find a good 88” frame for me then.

Re: 109 military frames
I’ve got 1 military frame still. I’m not sure the series one 109” frame is the same as the later ticks though. The military frame is from a series 3 109”.

Re: 109 military frames
FREE: Ex MOD 109 frame, needs to be moved ASAP or it will be chopped up and recycled. It will take 4 people to carry this frame from its current home. Must be picked up this month. Needs one frame horn repaired and some small rust areas treated. This frame is in VERY GOOD condition everywhere else, most of the original paint is still on it.
