Finding a carb kit might be your biggest challenge. I believe Rick Mellenger know where to find them.
You might also want to set the float level lower than instructions say so that you buy a little more angle before gas runs out of the float bowl vent and into the throat of the carb, causing flooding.
I found it could be set quite low without causing it to starve of fuel, and this especially made a difference when I was on a left side slope as the float bowl was on the right in my setup.
