That depends if it is a 3 or 5 main to some extent. A surprising number of parts swap between all the way from the 2.25 up to the 200tdi.

I have a few full sets of disassembled 2.5 NA. If you can find the common part numbers you're after, let me know, and i'll tell you if I have it. I do know a guy who has a cracked-block 2.25 gas engine. He may want to sell that to you. I could sell you 2.5 NA parts, but i'm unsure how that would move you ahead on your 2.25 diesel rebuild.

You can build a nice 2.5L gas motor using the diesel block, crank, con rods, pistons, camshaft and mixing that with the gas timing parts and casing and the gas head.

Do you happen to have a later style oil pump, part number err1117? It's the oil pump with an additional external bracket holding the filter. Thanks.
