good and bad news rovering

#1 Post by John Boy » Tue Feb 09, 2016 2:24 pm

Hi all
been a bit since i last came here. Been busy fighting the good fight with I C B C. First the bad news. I fought to have my 97 range rover repaired after a kid texting t boned me and turned my rover ninty degrees on dry pavement and won that. Then the tow company. West Shore Towing destroyed my rover. So i lost my range rover but tripled my investment. :| Sad but undeterred I bought a 2000 land rover yesterday to make me happy again. So code problems have me here asking questions. 1551. 1514 and 1519. Are what i now face. I googled the codes but can someone point me to the fix and parts?

On another note my bmw is painted the 450sl is almost done and I'm itching to start on my 1963 land rover rebuild.
Cheers Johnny

Just curious, but how did it come to be destroyed by the tow company?

Well.... the operator of the tow truck thought it would be a good idea to place my rover in neutral then remove the restraining straps then tip the flat deck until my angry rover rolled of, crashed to the ground, then raced across the parking lot to utterly destroy the passengers side of a grandmothers car that was only there for some scratch repairs. The amusing part was the shear stupidity of I C B C to suggest that I was somehow to black, I pointed out that I wasn't even in town when all this happened. But the loonisy dose not end there. A few weeks after all this, I settle for good cash when the same loopy fools tow company arrive at my home to remove my rover for the junk yard. The operated leaves my rover in park, then tries to pull it up on to the deck. I pointed out to the fool that his winch was smoking as my rover refused to budge. Go figure.
Cheers
