BC forestry rover door logos

#1 Post by leafsprung » Sun Nov 29, 2015 7:14 pm

Can anyone tell me (or better yet show me) what the logo on this Bc forestry truck looked like? I have seen a few pics online but never with enough resolution to make out the design

Thanks

Ike

Hi Ike,

There are many of us with former BC Forestry trucks so this is certainly worth the effort. I know a few years ago I found some good pictures in the Royal BC Museum Archives but searching last night got me nothing. However, I think I can get the help of Bristol Foster (the original Grizzly Torque owner) to help. Bristol was Director of the Royal BC Museum which holds all the Provincial Archives for eight years.

Let me see what I can do :)

Red90 has kindly linked properly to an interesting article I posted in the gallery, thanks John. Lots of good info in it but maybe not about the specific logo in your photo.

Some good info here. Found the original image here: http://www.bcfs100.ca/bscripts/gallery- ... Land+Rover
So may not have been a forestry truck but a survey company.
