Received a call this morning from Paul ofReel Cars looking for a RHD defender for an upcoming movie shoot.
The catch is that this will be involved in a pedestrian accident and could have from end damage.
He stated that they would be willing to purchase the vehicle, with the original owner having the option of first buy back.
I told him that the cheapest they can expect to find one is around $10 -15 k and even then it might be a struggle.
I thought with all those BATUS rovers out of Alberta someone might be willing for a quick flip?
Do not contact me with questions, rather call Paul from Reel Cars at 604-222-8558

Re: Could your car be a star?
I was just in Keremeos earlier this week, there's a garage there called Cawston Tire, the proprietor there is a very nice man and he had one of the ex-military Defenders, RHD, out front - apparently it is one of a batch of several (about 10?) which are being sold, I believe he said there are a few left for sale.
I did call the number in the original post and left a message with that info.
