looking at buying a roof tent this year does anyone here have any experience with tepui or cascadia roof tenets ? pros or cons ? thanks ..troy

I've never had a RTT before but after reading all the reviews (and especially the great customer service from CVT's Bobby) I think this was the best move for me.

I think the RTTs are a good idea - particularly where there are a lot of creepy crawlies. I have a labrador retriever , however, who insists that I sleep within monitoring distance whilst camping. (read - within two feet and within the same geometric plane) Given her unwillingness to climb ladders, and my inability to climb a ladder while carrying her, we are limited to conventional cargo space, tarp on the ground or dome tent arrangements. Have fun picking out an RTT, and just know there is at least one jealous roverlander, and at least one disapproving "rover", looking on :lol:
