This very nice Santana pick-up was operated by a local hotel in Conil de la Frontera. Too bad Santana has gone under. This truck was one of their last models. You could still buy one in 2010.

Re: Some Spanish Santanas and a couple of Rovers from my tr
Cool Santanas Bill, are you bringing one back? I bet parts are cheap out there?
I noticed the greenish one has a triple wiper set up, kinda strange for a hot, dry country like Spain!
Cheers,
Andy

Not sure about the price of parts Andy but old vehicles in general seem pretty scarce in Spain. Everyone seems to have vehicles built in the last 6 years or so. Scooters on the other hand are swarming everywhere and of every vintage.

So in Spain, where they're suppose to be in the middle of a very difficult economic stretch, they're all driving relatively new vehicles. On the other hand in Canada, where we are suppose to be weathering the economic downturn fairly well, we're all driving 20 and 30 year old vehicles...
It's a shame there aren't more older vehicles there as the dry and warm weather would be very old car (and old owner...) friendly.
