I just finished scanning in this factory brochure lent to me by Aart Van Der Star. Its a pretty interesting 28 page booklet showing all the good jobs you can put your Land-Rover to. The page below shows some photos taken in BC. Most of the booklet shares space between series 1 and series 2 trucks. All 28 pages can be viewed in the photo gallery, at member's galleries, at Bill Eastwood's gallery.

Re: Land-Rover in action (factory brochure)
The Series One shown was apparently one of several (3?) they bought in the early 50's. One of them, apparently stored in a warehouse and not used, was bought by Maple Bay Volunteer Fire Department in about 1956 and was in active service as a fire truck until some time in the late 80's when it was retired, restored and is still there on display and use in parades. In fact- I drove it last Sunday in the Canada Day parade.
