I was talking to some hikers who hiked to Lizzie Lake a couple of weeks ago, the road has been closed to vehicle traffic and deactivated since 2004. It has 8ft Alders growing all the way up the road now, plus all bridges have been removed and the road washed out in 3 places!
I was thinking ok, that sounds challenging, then they mentioned the deep snow from about half way up!
So maybe we should put this location back a month or two....
Now, no worries as we do have a new location in mind, but I will start a new thread to cover that.....
