paint

Is there any realistic hope of getting our 88 painted for $1,000 or under?
There is only one obvious ding in a fender but it is unknown how much filler is in it elsewhere.
I am thinking about a cosmetic job for a working truck rather than anything that approaches restoration quality and if necessary the top could wait.
Iwould also be changing the colour from off white to one of the green colours but doing it myself is not an option.

If it's just a working truck, why not hand paint & roller it. I've found that the small foam rollers give quite a good finish, not spray quality but it is a Landy when all said & done

It would also mean that you don't need to spend as much time masking up to prevent overspray & you can get into the door jambs easier too.
