2012 Okanagan monthly gatherings - October 11, 2012

#1 Post by DaveB » Wed Jan 04, 2012 7:31 am

As of September, 2012: Please note new location: White Spot Restaurant every second Thursday of each month at 6:30 PM.

We will be holding monthly gatherings again in 2012. Not a meeting in the normal sense, but just a gathering of Land Rover enthusiasts, where we'll have some food, laughs, watch videos, perhaps BS about our trucks a bit, etc....

These will take place on the second Thursday of each month, at 7 PM at the Pantry Restaurant in Vernon, BC. So, at this writing, the next meeting is January 12th, about a week from now.

Hope to see you there!

The next North Okanagan Rover Gathering is coming up super quick on Thursday February 9th.

We are booked at The Pantry Restaurant in Vernon on Hwy 97 beside the Vernon Lodge for the whole of 2012 minus July & August when we plan to hold summer BBQ's similar to what we did in 2011.

Time of the reservation is 7:00 p.m., but feel free to come by earlier if you want to order dinner first.
As long as we eat there, the rental of the room is free for us to use.

Activities:
Dave, Pamela, Kris, Randy & Darryl were all down at Founder's Day on Jan. 21st.
Hopefully they will briefly re-cap the event and show some pictures of the event on the screen.
This is the Rover-Landers of BC's largest event of the year.
Time permitting we also plan to show Part 4 in the series "A 4x4 is Born".

Bring stories & any and all questions you have about Land Rovers, especially your Land Rover.
We welcome all Land Rover enthusiasts to come out for a fun couple of hours.
Feel free to pass this message on to any of your Land Rover pals.

See you on the 9th!
