Welding Expertise needed

Hi All,
As some of you are aware I am rebuilding a 1956 Series I 86". I have actually two trucks, one being the rebuild and the other a parts truck.
I am considering removing from the parts truck chassis sections (door posts, and 1 bulkhead outrigger) for the rebuild.
The problem is I am not a welder and would like to put a call out for an "expert" to help a fellow Roverlander. I am not looking for someone to actually do the welding, but rather someone to tell me either that this is feasible or not.
I live in North Vancouver....Deep Cove specifically. Payment would be a lunch or dinner at the local pub, the Raven...or coffee and donuts from world famous Honeys in the cove...if it is the morning.
I am at the point where this is holding me up so anyone willing to Volunteer their expertise would be greatly appreciated.
PM me if you can help me out.
Cheers,
Dave Fraser
