LR 110 on eBay
Hey Bill,
eBay never recognizes the correct year of a British built vehicle. When you enter the SAL number into the listing it rarely gives the correct year.
Even our own ICBC has trouble with some British vehicles VIN numbers.
There are 29 bidders on this truck already, I believe in my humble opinion that this is a genuine sale! :?
(disclaimer- I have no knowledge of this vehicle or the seller and are quite often totally wrong!)
Cheers, Andy

Hey Andy D.
This ebay ad just seemed to exemplify the cautionary tale being told to "Coquitlam Glenn" on the other thread in this section. It's also a common topic for most noobs to Land-Rovers. Your point about eBay or ICBC being unable to ID Land-Rovers with any accuracy is well taken but this 110 is such a dog's breakfast and so mis-represented in the description that you'd be taking a serious gamble bidding sight unseen. The photos show several different model years of parts and a lot of questionable choices. Is it built up of stolen parts from several vehicles? We know it's flying the 1986 flag to answer the 25 year US rule but that only keeps you guessing about the rest of it. You've got to be smokin' some serious crack to be bidding north of 34 grand for this thing.
