Scouting trip this Monday April 5th

Hi All,

On Monday a few of us are running a scouting trip for the upcoming raft trip later in April. It will involve a trip down to Hale creek beach, a little canoe paddling, some exploring down a few unknown trails and possibly some road building (bridging) making our way over a land slide that we came up against on the last trip down that way.
The going could be a little rough for stock / newer trucks,
I would recommend to have decent all terrain or mud terrain tires and be not too worried about some small scratching / scraping. let us know if you plan to attend or have any other questions....

The meeting time is 9am at Tim Hortons in Abortsford, on highway 11, just off highway #1. (1861 Sumas Way, Abbotsford, BC V2S 4L5‎ besides the Burger King).

Wow.... did we ever get lucky with the weather! For what was forcasted as thunderstorms, wind and heavy rain turned out to be warm sunshine and mirror glass waters on Harrison Lake!

We did find a couple of amazing new beaches/bays and some tricky new trails, also some good ideas for locations with our raft testing weekend.....

I will begin a new thread on the rafting weekend (April 17-18th), we will need to limit how many trucks as rafting could take 1 hour per truck.
