Yukon and Alaska 2011

#1 Post by Greg S » Mon Feb 01, 2010 4:44 pm

I'm considering the Yukon and Alaska in the summer of 2011. In fact there are a number of us on the Island that are considering this trip. Anyone have a list of "must do" things and "gotta go there" places to include?

Looking at 4 weeks, August and beginning of September.

If you head over to expeditionportal.com, in the completed expeditions section of the forum, you can find several trips through alaska/yukon. The dempster and dalton highways are the two most popular places to explore. Lots of acreage to cover up there.
