I was out at BC Auction site in Surrey today and happened upon a trailer which looks like ex military. It is ex Ministry of Forests and is all steel, about the size of the early 1/4 ton Sankey Landrover trailer. Unfortunately I didn't take my camera with me however as it was probably just delivered, it should go up on the on line auction site within the week as they are getting a lot of stuff in and no room to put it.
The trailer had a drop down tailgate, outside wheel arches and structural supports for the sides. The floor appeared to be heavy ribbed steel. On a quick glance I didn't see any rust or damage. This could be from the 40's or 50's, but I am no expert.
Let me know if you are interested and I will keep an eye open when it is listed.
