Letter to the RoverLanders from Brad Paulin, 4WD President

Hi Dave. The short answer is simple, what is the association doing for you, we are working to keep the back country open so that you can continue to use your truck in the sport and hobby we all enjoy. I hate to say it, but there is no real answer to the question. The association is a volunteer organization and we can only do what we have volunteers for. We would love to be able to do more, but the truth of the matter is we don't have the volunteers. This is where we turn it around on you, because this is where we need to you to help us, and this is what you can do for the association. I believe Jarett will be at your meeting and try and answer the question more completely for you.

Honestly Dave, we are in a bad spot right now. The association is not
getting the number of volunteers we need to accomplish our goals and grow. That's the bottom line. This is where I put it all back onto your club. Yes you are our largest member club, but unfortunately you are also one of our least involved clubs. In order for us to do more for you, you need to do more for us.

I hope this helps Dave, and I encourage you to share this e-mail with your members prior to your next meeting and your talk with Jarett. I sincerely hope we never lose you as a member club, if nothing else your numbers are a big help. I know you have already gone through this discussion once this year and I hope it continues to turn out the way it has.

I apologize for taking some time before answering you, but some reflection and conversation did take time.

Thank you, I hope we will see you at the fall convention September 25.
