February 17 Region 2 meeting minutes

Tuesday February 17th

Call to order: 7:35PM

Club Reports:

Coquitlam Crawlers: None

Herd of Turtles: Sunrise Lake, Hale Creek, pre run for the poker run.

Roverlanders: not present

Individuals: none

Old Business:

Swap Meet: There is no liability insurance so there is no swap meet.

Trade Show: Jarett is working on the schedule. Still need volunteers for some time. Please email Jarett at [email protected] to volunteer. We now have a 10’ by 10’ booth. Andrea is getting the posters back next week. Jarett to get more wheeling wisely pamphlets printed up.
Region II elections will be held at the next Region II meeting in March.

Land Use:

Eagle Ridge: Coquitlam Crawlers will be hosting a clean up at Eagle Ridge. The tentative date is June 26. Currently there is no gate at Eagle Ridge.

Whipsaw: Jarett and Wes met with Linda from the Allison Creek Ranch. The meeting went well and Linda would like to work with us. There is also a possibility for the stewardship of the Forest Service campground.

Sunrise Lake: The campground is available again. It was suggest that someone might want to volunteer to take this on. The 4wdabc could get stewardship of the campground and host monthly runs.

New Business:

Outdoor Adventure Show: It was suggested that maybe next year the 4wdabc should try and get a booth at the Outdoor Adventure Show at BC Place.

Ricky’s Meeting Place: Please note that if you do not order anything at Ricky’s they may charge you $3 for a meeting space. It is suggested that you at least buy a pop which is less than $3.

4WDABC AGM, March 20-21. Ruskin Hall. Corner of 96th St and 284th Ave, Maple Ridge.

Region 2 run: Show up to the AGM and go on the poker run or Sunday run.
