Place: Tsawwassen Safeway parling lot

I spotted a shiny metallic jade green series 3 deluxe 88 station wagon with Washington plates. It looked as though it had had quite a bit of coin spent on it and had remarkably good galvanized capping, some non-stock creature comforts inside and some fairly unique bumperettes (or at least unique to my knowledge :? ) Does anyone know this truck or its owner?

In answer to my own question, I met up with the owner of this truck recently. His name is Gary and lives in Point Roberts. He had the truck extensively rebuilt over ten years ago by a specialist in Chicago. The resto has held up remarkably, to the extent that it looks just recently done. Gary drives the truck as his daily transport. Unfortunately he has just encountered gearbox/clutch problems and has it in at UK Trek and Traction for exploratory surgery.
