HI Mark, Just wanted to check and see if they will make early series
1 yet, I asked before and they were not making them. I would be
intrested in an 1949 80". Jerry Hurlburt

Hello All,
We are in the process of gathering names to facilitate a container of
Galvanized 88 & 109 chassis from the UK. We would also look at 90 &
110 chassis if is interest.
As it stands, we have 6 orders for chassis and are looking for a few
more to cap off the order.
Feel free to give us a call at 866 457 8888 for full details.
Regards,
Mark Nault

Hi Dave,
Was able to get the required rim/tire from Steve Rogers, but many
thanks for your offer. Nice to
know there are generous donors out there to assist in a time of need.
Steve - Many thanks for your donation, and thanks for letting me view
your spare parts cache !
I'll return with my list soon !

I'm just not finding the time to continue with it, and the domain
that it lives on has been sold, and will be shut down on Monday.

Question on Brake Masters
Reply-To: vanislelandrovernetwork[*]yahoogroups.com
On the 109 it is a straigt swap but with the addition of a fitted
spacer between the tower and MC (bought with the MC, I don't know the
part number). The ports on the MC might have different thread but
adapters are available at most automotive stores (NAPA; Lordco Etc.)
Same amount of fluid but of course you have to by the 88" unit.
Welcome back. Kinda noticed a lack of "Paul" on the forum and at the
Lagger.

Subject: [vanislelandrovernetwork] De-Lurking for a Bit - Question on
Brake Masters
Hello all,
It's been a long time since I've posted. I've been in lurk
mode for the last year, the result of the arrival of our new baby
last December 30th, and my being away at sea (Navy) for about 5
months of the last year.
Congratulations on the LRW article, I look forward to reading it!
My SII 88 has been off the road since it's insurance ran out last
winter, and now with my wife's impending return to work after her
maternity leave, we will be needing two cars again so it's time to
get the old girl running again.
I've decided that now is the time to fix those spongy double pump
brakes once and for all. I'm ordering new drums and an overhaul
kit from Britain.
I know I've asked this question before, but I can't remember the
answer: I'd like to replace the unbleadable 'CB type' master
cylinder on my rig with a CV type. Is this just a straight swap on
my 1961 SII 88? Or do I have to change the pedal tower / mount
bracket? Do the cylinders move the same amount of fluid? I guess
they must because all of the other components like wheel cylinders
are the same…
TIA,
Paul in Victoria

Hi All,
Looking for a spare rim with or without tire for my Series 1 109".
Any 'spare' spares out there?
My bonnet is feeling rather naked these days. Will pay cash and pick
up (if not toooooooo far
away...)
Regards,

Subject: [vanislelandrovernetwork] De-Lurking for a Bit - Question on
Brake Masters
Reply-To: vanislelandrovernetwork[*]yahoogroups.com
Hello all,
It's been a long time since I've posted.

Hey all,
Do any of you feel like taking on the ownership and maintenance of
our web site?
I'm just not finding the time to continue with it, and the domain
that it lives on has been sold, and will be shut down on Monday.
Anybody wants it, it's yours.

Will do, Kerry. I know a pic of your rig made it in so that is pretty
darn cool! Not sure which pic yet as I still haven't seen it yet
either!!!!!! As for school, I have delayed starting until January
because of trying to really get some stuff going with LRW and a few
other mags - oh well. Hope your Megan is enjoying it though - I am
very jealous to say the least.

Hello, Ann;
I'm not sure if I said
earlier that I would like 3 copies of the LRW edition. I've simply
gotta have a spare to take to work and show the guys. Oh, and my
daughter, Megan, the redhead, is on the wait list for a couple of
English courses, but she's also in some Poly-Sci course, Religious
studies and a few others. If you see her, say hi from her dad, I
miss the hell out of her.
