On the first point. It is straight forward. Brake lines are not needed. The hardest part is usually the front shocks as they are usually rusted in. An Oxy torch is handy.
On the wheels, yes, Land Rover has its own bolt pattern. 5 on 6.5" with M16 studs. There are Rover parts vendors in the States and the UK that carry steel wheels. You won't find any local suppliers.

The swap is straight forward just have time for the pentrating oil to work!!
Heat was required for my front shock shock towers {spitfire propane worked for me}. Take your time work safe!! I took about 12 hrs over two days but that was taking pictures as the work progressed & lots of advice from the neighbours :lol: .
