I'm just wondering if anyone on here is going nuts with thier coil sprung suspensions or if they are just doing the tried and true OME spring and shock route?

I'm running stage one from safari Guard using ome springs & shocks.
The truck was raised 2". Pics in tech section.
I'm pleased with this setup, just fits in the garage with 2" to spare.

Right now I have 90HD rear springs (230lbs/in) in the front and OME781's (290lb/in) in the rear and that gives me about a 1.5 to 2 inch lift over stock. My 90 has a 2.5NA diesel and winch up front so she needs heavier front springs than a NAS 90. I'm running 255x85R16 tires on 130 rims. All else is stock but I'm temped to try some of the wizzy stuff ;)

Im running the heavy duty OME springs on my 96 disco and I have the pro comp 9000 on, I did have the pro comp 3000 on but found them a little soft.
I was told that the stock 3000 will support a lift up to 2".
Pro comp really nows there stuff too bad they dont make a full suspension for any Landrover

Cheers

My Disco is running OME heavy duty springs and shocks, hardly "wizzy" stuff but does the job.

I believe Shipman's 90 is running Warn black diamond shocks.

How does this sound?

OME parts:

764 springs in front with N73 shocks
781 springs in rear with N76 shocks

Some mods to the bump stops and rear lower mounts will be needed but this could be nice with 10" of front travel and 11" in the rear.

Any thoughts?
