Whipsaw August 19-20
Please indicate your interest in attending the Whipsaw Trail/Lodestone Lake summer cleanup on August 19 & 20th. Depending on the number of attendees we we either go in as one group, or split into two groups if there are enough trucks, perhaps one entering from each end of the trail...
Sufice it to say, some will want to depart Friday night and camp up at Copper Creek, while a few others will want to roll in early Saturday morning. Details to come...
thanks, Dave

For any last minute stragglers, we'll be camping Friday night at the Copper Creek Forestry site, but the one accessed at the 1 KM marker (more private)
Saturday meeting spot is the Whipsaw turnoff from hwy 3 at 9 AM. This is about 3 hours from Whatcom Rd., Abbotsford. GPS coordinates: 49°22'09.36"W 120°34'33.72"N
We'll be monitoring CB channel 4

Yes, we heard the screaming all the way to Lodestone!
We picked up lots of beer cans and garbage as well, but overall, the trail looked better than it had for any of the past several trips. Was nice to see the Subaru was gone as well.
Funny how you can drive through and stop to pick up beer cans and trash, then the next vehicle does the same, and so on, and so on -- and there's still beer cans left for the last truck to pick up. Hmmm.
Thanks for your help, guys.
