I had told myself I would not go on any of the really tough trails. In the end I decided to go on the Alpine Loop which included at the start the Mineral Creek trail which was pretty rough. About half way through my air suspension quit and I had to drive many miles on the bump stops until I could bail out at a midpoint. A very jarring experience. Then a 137 mile loop on gravel and pavement to get back to the Fairgrounds. I did see some nice scenery and made it to the top of Engineer Pass at 12,800 feet. Today I will investigate hoping for a fix. I guess the problem could have happened on any trail but maybe I should have stuck with my initial thinking.
