1972 Series IIa

I acquired this Landy in September of 2021 and I have spent the past 5 months getting it back on the road. I’ve realized I’d like a 109” so I have decided to sell this one. Perfect weekend adventure rig or running project.

SOLD Asking $10,900 or Trade for a 5-door 109”

It had been sitting for over 15 years so here is a summary of what I have done.
-Replaced all of the brake system components, master cylinder, copper-nickel brake lines, brake hoses, wheel cylinders and shoes, painted brake booster. I also replaced the clutch master and slave cylinders and a new clutch hose.
-Removed rear axle and painted
-Fitted NOS rear springs with new bolts and shackles and replaced the rear chassis bushings.
-Brand new shocks all around
-Painted and welded on a new rear bumper
-Fluids replaced in both axles, transmission and transfer box and engine
-Replaced the oil seals in the rear hubs and painted them.
-Pedal boxes were removed and rebuilt, cleaned and painted and new pedal pads fitted.
-Sand blasted and painted the wheels with brand new tires. Tires literally have 0kms on them.
-Driver and passenger seat bottoms recovered ($$$)
-Fixed a lot of wiring problems-rewired front lights
-Replaced fuel filler hose and cleaned up/repaired fuel level sender
-Fabricated new battery hold down and new battery
-Installed new front off road lights on bumper
-Rebuilt fuel pump with new fuel line and filter
-I did lots of other small things like new mirrors, new speedo cable, new radiator cap, new license plate light, door hinges pins and realigned the doors, new engine belt. It has an electronic distributor and the carb is a newish zenith, fires right up even in the cold. I’m sure there are other things I am missing.

There is some more frame repair that needs to be done. The front springs should also be replaced and the coolant should be flushed, comes with new cooling system hoses and a thermostat and gaskets (just hadn’t got to these on the list) The foot wells will need to be replaced/repaired at some point. I did put some rust converter on the other spots around the bulkhead and frame. Also the hand brake does not work and the fuel tank should be cleaned out (again, just didn’t get to these yet)

I can provide more pictures if needed

$10,900 or trade for a 5-door 109”

Just noticed that you routed the brake lines on the wrong side of the brake line shields on the rear axle. Those plates are there to keep the axle check straps from chafing the brake lines. Might want to fix that!
