1991 D90 200 Tdi built for Overlanding

#1 Post by Paul Rossmo » Wed Jul 28, 2021 12:07 pm

I have owned my D90 for 15 years. I built it from the chassis up to travel overland throughout North America. This is my second D90, I sought out a Right-Hand Drive Defender 90, as I found it is advantageous for travel. The driver gets the view over the side of the road, many of my best photographs were taken through the driver’s side window. In town, entry and exit is onto the sidewalk, not out into traffic.
It can be swapped over to Left Hand Drive for about $5,000.
It has traveled over 70,000 miles throughout North America from the Dakotas west.

My health forces the sale, as I can no longer camp and hike.

I have always prioritized quality and simplicity. I recently started freshening it up for its next adventure with all new brakes, tires, valve job, and a new turbocharger. It currently has 135,000 miles.
