SeatoSky, an extra thank you for your comment on BAT, it was nice to see and very noble of you.
I posted the link to the auction here to give people a chance to bid if they wanted. I did get some local interest but in the end, the bidder from Texas won out. I agree it is sad to see it go south but I am not very good at selling Land Rovers and this seemed to be the easiest way as I don't have to set a price and deal with negotiations.
