1952 Series 1 for sale

#1 Post by StuartL » Mon May 31, 2021 10:39 am

I am selling Lucille, she is just not getting enough attention these days and at 69 years old deserves to be looked after.

Bid often and bid high!!!!

Sad to see you didn’t give someone local a chance to snap it up. So many original Canadian S1’s have gone stateside in recent years! Good luck with the sale

Went for US$28,000 (~C$33,840)! Congrats Stuart. :mi5:

Hmm. I wonder what my 80" would bring. Might be time to sell. :bounce:

Thank you gentlemen.....

SeatoSky, an extra thank you for your comment on BAT, it was nice to see and very noble of you.

I posted the link to the auction here to give people a chance to bid if they wanted. I did get some local interest but in the end, the bidder from Texas won out. I agree it is sad to see it go south but I am not very good at selling Land Rovers and this seemed to be the easiest way as I don't have to set a price and deal with negotiations.

Thank you again,
Stuart
