Took the Disco out for shakedown overnighter

#1 Post by rgallant » Sun May 30, 2021 6:04 pm

Just avoid both sides of Harrison it is beyond nuts, I stopped at a little spot I know of at Shovel creek, and it was the only open spot I saw in 60 KM. The Koopi is still snowed in pretty good, about 20 minutes from the bridge over Shovel creek.

Disco ran well, no issues no drama which is always good. got a honk and wave from a new Defender running with a bunch of Jeeps and Toyota's on the way out

Hey Richard,

Nice photos 8) Where was the water fall photo taken?
Looks like it will probably be late June before we can do the Kookpiki?

Cheers
Andy

@Andyd the waterfall is Shovel Creek literally just pass the bridge to the left, it drops a long way down in steps there. It is great this of year with the high water.

I would think late June maybe early July, the snow was significantly deeper a 100 metres up.
