I picked up some high security (medeco locks) lock boxes. I'm using a couple in my Defender. I have 3-4 extras available for $80.

Would the box fit between two series/defender seats like an aftermarket cubby box does?

I think they are a bit wide for that. In any event they are all spoken for at the moment.
