Alternator for V8

New alternator for a V8; came with my Defender but I have a 300 Tdi so can’t use. No brand marked only these numbers.
Located in Burnaby just off Hwy#1. Asking $200.

Hi There,
That 100 amp alternator came from Red 90, so he might have some input. Sold suitable for a 300tdi.

I needed an alternator just after the Rally in the Valley and Alistair at Hesp said he’d install for me then discovered that it’s for a V8. Not proper connections for tdi.

Huh? I think someone is mixed up. As long as the mounts line up, it is the right one. Wiring is the same for all engines. If it one that I sold, I guarantee it is the correct OEM 100 Amp alternator for a 300TDI.

This is the V8 version. The difference is the feet are closer together. The side view makes it clear this is the TDI one that you have.
Wiring is the same.

300TDI, 100 Amp altermator. If putting in a Defender, you should put in a larger gauge wire to the starter.
