Andy: You've done a wonderful job of leading this event, and it was an honour to participate under your guidance! While I was originally not sure about going, I'm very glad that my wife "persuaded" me to locate some guts and get out there; we both had a total blast and can't wait for the next adrenalin rush with the club.ANDYD wrote:Hi All,
Everything is set for a go as planned, see you all at Tim Hortons.
I've experienced a whole new side of the Land Rover as a result of this excursion, and more importantly, got to know an amazing group of Rover-Landers. Friendly, helpful, encouraging... it was excellent, and so were all those who came!
I pin-striped the truck, but now I feel that it really is a Rover! I'll be touching up two spots where scrapes were deep, but the rest I'm going to leave just as they are for now. Sort of a pride-badge thing. ;)
Once again, to everyone involved in planning, operating, and attending.... Thanks!
(I'll post the list of names in the members section, so that we can have them included in the news letter)
And now, for some images... Sorry about the low quality, didn't bring a great camera with (won't happen again). Click on the images for a large and more grainy version (I hope).

Out of the fog, something this way comes!
