Hello everyone,
I got this email and I thought I would post it to see if anyone wanted to do a run or have a social while this fellow is here.
Dave Blair suggested a new years day run...
Thanks,

Hi Don
I am planning a ski trip to Whistler 20th Dec till 8th Jan and am interested to know if there is an active LR group in the Whistler or Vancouver area and if there are any events on during that period. I am the Secretary and Regional Team Leader for CRAG (Countryside Recreational Access Group - www.crag-uk.org) and also Co-Ordinator for the Powys 4x4 Response Group as well as being a keen green laner and general off road nut. I currently own 3 landrovers (1 disco, 1 90 and one Buggy Conversion on Disco Chassis).
I’m not sure how I’m going to survive the Xmas and New Year Period without some kind of Land Rover buzz so any help you can provide would be much appreciated.
Best Regards
Mark Margetts

Hello,
Our friend Mark from Wales will be intouch with me once he arrives in Whistler.
Given his accomidation is in Whislter I expect we will do something in the Squamish / Whistler area.
A New Years Day run has been suggested.
There are some trails north of Squamish, south of Whistler that could be fun in the snow!!
Later,
Don

Hello everyone,
I'll be away until Friday, but I am planning to host a New Years Day run next Tuesday in the Squamish/Whistler area. We will have a guest from Wales who is staying in Whistler for the holidays.
I am planning on heading up to Madley Lake and loop over to the Callahan Lake road. The first 10 km off the higway has been under major construction for the Olympics Cross Country Ski Area.
Expect snow conditions, bring chains if you got them!! We will need a chainsaw as there was a tree across the loop trail last spring.
I will post more details on meeting location this weekend.
Thanks,
Don
