Call to Order: 7:35pm

Attendance: Ryan Egger (HOT), Andrea Hoffmann (HOT), Paul Gagnon (IND.), Wes Remple (HOT), Rocco Baldassarre (Ind.), Jarett Humphrey (Coquitlam)


Club Reports:

Coquitlam Crawlers — Gold Bridge/Bralorne. Fix it day 24/25th, Aug. trip for Sea Schelt.

Heard Of Turtles — Whipsaw (17 trucks), S-10 Bash in Penticton, Chipmunk and Vedder mountain trips.

Rover Landers — n/a

Individuals — n/a


Old Business:

Specialty Vehicle Association — nothing new.

X-Treme Event — nothing new

Bell Road Update — Privet property, no access.


Land Use:

Eagle Ridge clean up — Nothing new.

Stave Lake — Has been closed on weekends for fire hazards

Sunrise Lake — Nothing new.

Whipsaw — Did inspection, In need of a project Manager to organize clean up, please talk to Wes about this position available.

New Business:

Storage Locker — Who’s going to help move locker?

Blue Mountain — Wes no longer has the key, so don’t go in there and get stuck, know one but the police can get you out.

Merchandise — Looking for logo/decal ideas for stickers and shirts, if you have any ideas for some, or have an artistic eye to make something please e-mail [email protected]

Brochure holders — Idea was brought up to place brochure holders in Truck dealerships with our Wheeling Wisely brochure, Join us Brochure and back roader magazine. This way people buying new 4x4’s can learn about us, and join. Andrea will ask a friend about cost on building the specific holders for the 3 items.

People Needed! — We need people to lead the R2 Runs. They can be stock, or non-stocker runs; we would like to separate the Sunrise Run’s from the R2 runs. A set schedule was talked about, having a years set calendar of runs set in advance, and individuals or clubs could pick which runs they would like to lead, and if they wanted to change the run that’s ok too.

Fun — How about a Halloween party or Treasure hunt? Sound like fun? Well give us your ideas at the next meeting.

Fall Convention — September 25th in Prince George

Advertise Meetings — Andrea will be advertising the meetings and R2 run’s on BC4x4.

For next meeting, not big enough turn out.
