Well I got around to trying to fitting my Paddocks fuel tank guard for the side tank in my 90 tonight... No problem. Once under the truck with the supplied brackets it all made perfect sense and it was installed in about two hours which included removing and refitting my home made rock slider. You do not have to drill any holes in your 90, it is all bolt on. My only warning would be that if you have other kit fitted in the same general area you might have issues. My rock slider came very close to occupying the same space as the side support for the skid plate but it just cleared. I am very happy with this quality of this skid plate and give it an A+ for quality and ease of installation other than the instructions where missing.
Also I should add that it looks like pressure washing between the plate and tank will not be a problem due the the large holes in the plate and the approx 1/2" space between it and the bottom of the tank.
