RR Brush guard install

#1 Post by Robert Mac » Tue Aug 14, 2007 2:55 pm

Hello everyone,

I just took my RRC over to a shop to install my stock RR brush guard they cut the holes into my airdam and figured it would slide right in if presented at the correct angle. Well it would not go so they said that they dont know how to install it and would I find out and bring it back to them.

Odd dont you think as they do this for a living. the shop is in Chilliwack and called trademasters. I mentioned that from what I can see you should just unbolt the air dam and slide it over the brush gaurd bracket and then bolt on the brush gaurd and bolt up the airdam. They say probably have to take off the front bumper to.

well for those of you who have done this install who is correct?

Cheers and thank you

Rob

Hi,

My air dam was cut with slots (not holes) so I was able to install / remove the air dam with out disturbing the brush bar.
As far as I know this is how it came from the factory.

cheers,

Andy

Thank you
