I need a power steering pipe to thread into this pump. My old pump had a banjo bolt and the hose doesn't fit after my engine swap.
Is there a north american model (ranger over or disco?) that uses this pump or has this thread?
If so, then I'll go to a wrecker and see what I can get, Unless anyone out there has a fixture that will fit it you want to sell me..
I've already been to a hydraulic hose shop, and like most places, they look at me like I'm crazy. (Ever try to get parts from Canada Tire?)
My truck is SO close to running! Just a couple last things.....
Thanks...
Glenn

Hey Glenn
Is the end of the power steering pump hose an O ring type fitting?
I had a problem matching the new power steering pump fitting to the old steering box thread with the new hose that come with the engine. I ended up cutting the compression end off the old hose and the O ring end off the new hose and had my parts guy (B&J Parts in PoCo) make me a hydraulic hose with compression fittings to attach the new and old ends too.
Does that make any sense?
Anyways if you need the O ring type of end I still have one somewhere that you can have.

There is a company in Aldergrove I used when I need special fittings for the oil cooler on my diesel. They have a corporate goal of being able to supply every type of fitting available, and have no problem with making up oddball hoses and fittings. Let me know if you need their info and I'll dig it up.
