Galvanisation

#1 Post by dchsw » Tue Jan 09, 2007 11:34 am

Just re-started work on my 80" today (after a one year gap whilst I emmigrated here) and I have pretty much decided that I'm going to re-galv all the appropriate components on it. Question is how, or rather, who.

Any recomendations for galvanising companies?

I live on the island so local would be best, but mainland is ok if I have to.

The large components that need re-doing are the windhsield frame, door tops and the grab bar. The bumper does not need doing as I'm going to invest in a new one. Hood sticks are brand new so they don't need it either.

All the other bits and bobs (tub cappings, steering column support, seat hinges, tailgate chains etc.) will fit in a carrier bag so are no big deal.

Thanks in advance,

David

Industrial galvanizing in Calgary does great work and are quite cheap but they are in Calgary.

I like Silver City. They're on an Island — Annacis Island, but hey, at least its an Island
