If it was last registered in BC I don’t think it needs an inspection.

It wasn't - or at least no trace of it...

Did you check a year earlier or later than the year you think it is? When these trucks were new, the year they were first registered was often the model year used, rather than their true model year. Just a possibility that may save some headaches.

yes - this was checked and there was nothing. I have another vin plate that could be run, but i haven't done that. currently registered as vehicle under restoration for ICBC. Other jurisdictions may just require bill of sale.

Hi Phil

If you have the ICBC paper work that says "vehicle under restoration" that means the car is registered in BC and the BC used car tax has been payed, take that and the bill of sale from whoever you bought it from into your favorite ICBC agent they can look up the vehicles currant status on their computer. The serial number should be on that piece of paper.
The computer will say if it needs to have a "BC Out of Province Safety Inspection" done before BC road insurance will be issued.

There should be no charge for checking.

Good luck with your sale. Victor

Heres some more info. https://www.icbc.com/assets/en/4YVqryKk ... ration.pdf
