Chilcotin Homestead washed away

Visited this on the 7 day a few years back. Washed away today.



Remember we found that creepy Sasquatch nest. !

That's the one where we parked up top and walked down to the cabins? I don't remember it being that close to the river, but I guess the bank would eventually erode away over time with the same result.

Yes, was an awesome location to explore on our Chilcotin 7 day trip (2022), Farwell Canyon.
Sad to see it go! Its certainly been a bad couple of years in BC for losing Fire Look-outs and old heritage cabins :cry:
