Mechanic in Kamloops?
Hi Everyone, I'm en route home to Kamloops with Bucephalus, my new 1960 88, just purchased in Dawson Creek. I'm writing to see if anyone knows a good mechanic in Kamloops with experience in these things. I hope to do a fair bit myself, but some expert help would be very valuable.

Is this the black pickup cab SWB that was for sale up there? If so I think I saw you at the Co Op station in Williams Lake yesterday AM.
I can’t help on a mechanic in Kamloops as I am in the Cariboo, but good luck with finding one and have fun with your new truck.
They’re mechanically very simple, challenge might be finding a mechanic who knows and understands the older mechanical systems instead of the new electronics.

Re: Mechanic in Kamloops?
Thanks TimberPig, yes indeed that was me gassing in Williams Lake. Very pleased that after sitting awhile the old girl made it all the way to Kamloops at a steady 80 km/h. This is my third lifetime Series truck (previously had a '52 and a '67 IIA), so there's a few things I'm pretty comfortable doing and I'm willing to learn more, but in case there's things that need the attention of a shop I'd really be looking for an old-school place. But it seems like a lot of that generation has died off or retired, and I really need someone who isn't just a modern-day 'plug and play' parts replacer.
