My indicator switch needs to me replaced on my 65 2a.
Can a series 3 indicator switch with a horn, high beam, and the auto reset (that’s not the right word, but I can’t remember what is…) that turns off the indicator when the wheel is turned the other direction, be fit to a series 2a? My steering wheel was replaced and doesnt have a horn, so maybe this will kill two birds at once?
I have a feeling no, but it’s worth a shot!
Series 3 indicator switch on a 2a?

Well, it will bolt onto the column, but...
1. The signal lever wouldn't self cancel
2. The bracket and all the wires would be exposed.
3. You also would have to sort out the wiring.
Also, I'm not sure if it wouldn't tend to roll on the column as in S3 it's also bolted to the surround binnacle.
