Frame rust - passenger side rear

Well I found where a PO did a dodgy frame fix - epoxy stick and now I have a rear frame repair to do. Unfortunately, I do not weld but I can strip everything down myself and do the prep.

Left side is still decent but I would do both sides

Does anyone know a good mobile welder ?

Although the ideal would be a 1/4 or 1/2 frame replacement that is not in the budget.

I am looking at using these two kits to generate a box to cover the rear quarter

For the sides - this kit removes the requirement to remove and reweld all the mounts but lacks the lower metal

Total cost is about 200.00 CDN for the parts.

A 1/4 frame is 1200.00 CDN Shipped to my door. Welding is actually "simpler"

At this point I will need to borescope the frame and see how bad it is but the wrap method will give the truck a few more years.

At nearly 20 years old there are a few considerations on how much to throw at it for sure

the bottom parts looks fixable in place , cut it out and weld a piece in

@yrayray I might go that way, but the patch kits are pretty cheap, and dropping the tank while annoying I can do myself.

Further update on the recommendation of a UK Rover owner I whacked around with a framing hammer and nail set looking for soft spots none were found. Even the bad section only dimpled in a very minor way a literal dot
I then got a borescope and inspected the inside - good news other than a ton of spider webs no rust flakes lying in the bottom even when I struck the frame with a hammer and punch in the area around the scope.
The damage appears to be isolated to the section in the images and only on that one side which is good, but it is ugly in there.

Based on that I will most likely go with the patch kits as the frame appears to be largely intact and they will add full-length additional structure.
