WTB S2a SWB Front and Rear Diffs
I'm looking for both front and rear differentials (would actually take full axles if you have them) for a series 2a in decent condition. I have a front diff which I'll likely rebuild but the rear is too far gone really. Can rebuild it, but might be better just to buy a decent used one. So now I'm thinking of saving some time and just trying to buy both differentials or entire axles. Located in the Okanagan.

Front and rear? And are they in decent operational shape? If so, pm me and let me know what you want for them? Assuming they're 4.7:1.

I also have a complete rear axle, restored -- but not rebuilt. Diff was visually inspected before mating to the axle case for painting.

88” and 109” rear axles have different placement of the leaf spring perches, so will not bolt in from one to the other. You would need to move all parts over from a LWB to a SWB housing for it to work, as the diffs, shafts and hubs are the same. Brakes are also likely different depending on year etc.oldgravy wrote: Sun Jul 02, 2023 1:27 pm I also have a complete rear axle, restored -- but not rebuilt. Also are they off an 88 (swb) or a 109?oldgravy wrote: Sun Jul 02, 2023 1:27 pm I also have a complete rear axle, restored -- but not rebuilt. Diff was visually inspected before mating to the axle case for painting.

Mine is a narrow-perch axle case. It will suit 88" frames with the leaf springs directly in line with the frame rails. The bump stop plates and leaf anchor points are one above the other.
I am located in Cloverdale (Surrey / Langley border). I will likely be driving up to West Kelowna at some point this summer!

How much do you want for it? Happy to wait until you're coming through.
