Re: 1966 Landrover
Wow, $50,000 for a basic 3 door 109 is a huge price drop as it was originally listed for $999,999.00
Apparently inflation is impacting the value of old Land Rovers, still cheaper than a house though.

This truck was fully restored by Clapperton Ranch, so it is in very good shape, but is pretty optimistic in the Canadian market. Prices in the US are higher and this is in line more with that market than here.
I wish them luck with the sale, but unless it goes stateside, I expect it will sit for a long time at that price waiting for a Canadian buyer.

Some people don’t treat stuff as well as others, some don’t want it perfect. Either way, the price is optimistic at best.franko wrote: Mon Jun 05, 2023 9:37 pm hmm from the pictures that really does not look fully restored. In less it happened 30 years agp.

Re: 1966 Landrover
I noticed that posting first thing this morning. Looked like a really nice, complete rig but the price - wow! it seems to be gone already. Maybe it sold. I wonder if some of these listings are scams to try to get deposits out of people. The sellers sometimes don't seem quite right. I usually check to see how old the seller's account is. If it's brand new, I'm wary.
