Not much happened today, just registration and pick up your free T shirt. Thought there might be a handout describing the week's activities but I guess you just check the website. Spent the day wandering around Ouray. Set up camp at the Fairgrounds at 2. Met a couple from Denver, Chuck and Linda, who said they had met a RoverLander at Death Valley, a fellow who tried to an expedition from the Alcan Hwy to the coast on an abandoned military road. He showed a photo of their vehicle and it turned out to be the Blairs. I mentioned they were back in BC.
Tomorrow will be the first trail ride. Rained off and on today and raining as I write. Quite a change from the blistering heat of Nevada.

Re: Day 1 of the Land Rover National Rally
Hey Gord,
Retirement must be great! Wish I was there too. Good to hear the old P38 didn't overheat (yet!)
Keep us updated on the event, maybe we will get down there one year.
Cheers
Andy
PS Try to avoid any wheelies like in your Avatar photo! Its not good for the heart!
