Well the old P38 has made it to Ouray Colorado for the Land Rover National Rally. Left Chilliwack on the 20th and arrived at Ridgeway Park campground Saturday afternoon, 24th, after driving the last leg from Los Vegas area where it was hotter than Hades. 3,351km/2,082 miles so far. $736USD for gas and $134 for 4 state campgrounds. Monday the attendees can arrive at the Ouray Fair campgrounds for camping and briefing on the week's trail drives. Don't think I will try any of the more difficult trails as I need to maintain the vehicle in good condition for the long drive home. Will post a few notes about the trails. Forecast has rain this week so that may make things more challenging.
Cheers,
Gordon

Re: Greetings from Colorado
Sounds fun Gordon. The P38 is probably the most perfect vehicle for such a trip (other than the fuel economy). So excellent on the highway and so amazingly capable off road.
