More series parts - some free to a good home

#1 Post by Rob » Thu Aug 12, 2021 1:24 pm

Clearing out more series rovers parts, will ship (at your cost), here's the list:

Door sills and mounting brackets - galvanized, in good shape, some layers of old paint and undercoating but the steel is solid. These were from a series 2a but should likely fit most series 2/2a/3 88 and 109 and Defender 90/110 (2 or 3 door models but not the 5 door models). Please confirm before buying. $50 for the pair

Series starter motor - previously rebuilt and was serviced about 10 years ago and then never installed (comes with the repair bill for provenance). Asking $100.

Valve covers, 2 different types (slight difference in mounting holes and serial numbers) free to a good home.

All parts are located on Vancouver Island... no plans for any trips over to the mainland so best you arrange for pick-up r I can ship by Canada Post (your cost). For more pictures of the parts go to this link https://flic.kr/s/aHsmWo9HN3

Thank you for helping me get these parts out of the garage!

Regards, Rob

Great photos Rob!

I'll keep looking, that roof top tent you sold me years ago has been getting great use!

Hi Rob, my steering box is cracked and my voltage regulator doesn't work. Is there any chance that you would be able to post them to Nelson?

Rob! Hello from Seattle. The Green Rover is alive and well. Wondering if that steering guard is still available? I know it is heavy, but would you be willing to ship it South? Slow boat option would be fine. Thanks!
