Great to see another one rescued. I am very envious of your welding skills. Cheers Robin

I am currently redoing a '52 80 that was used by BC Forest Services and will finish it in period BC Forest Services Livery. It is great so many people are interested in the early Series 1's again. Slow and steady just like they are.....the LRSOC is a great resource.

Do you have any photos of the forest service livery! I haven’t decided about restoring my 57 yet, but I do work for the modern day forest service, and that might be cool!

Hello Southbank Shawn,

What I am doing is including the bonnet straps and anything else that was installed originally on the Land Rover. I has decided to forgo the hardtop so not doing the straps on it. I have galvanized them.

I have been lucky in sourcing both the Provincial decal that will appear on the doors and the BC Forest Service license plate hanger and a 1952 BC license plate. I also plan to install a Capstan winch on the front.
