Leaky LT230
So my LT230 has leaked badly despite multiple attempts to reseal it, and one full rebuild. Having it out for other reasons I pulled it apart to have a look at the case where the intermediate shaft sits. It was very wallered out. I bought a nice little shiny doodad (steel sleeve) from ashcrofts and with a little help and guidance got the case bored out and the sleeve pressed in. It goes back together tomorrow and hope fully back in the truck by next week. Here are some photos for posterity.

Nice! Who did the sleeve work? My tcase is leaking pretty good there as well so figure if I’m gonna pull it might as well put the sleeve in to.

The sleeve itself is from ashcroft : https://www.ashcroft-transmissions.co.u ... -bush.html
I did the machining. I haven't had a chance to drive much yet but hoping it will all be sealed up now.
